I KNOW I posted a review soon after purchase (& it was positive, too). Now it seems to have disappeared. Unfortunately, this viscous stuff fabric makes this (gold) ottoman an irresistible scratching post to my newly adopted cat. She's started working on the skirt of my sofa, too, but that's not showing any damage (yet). This fabric is especially problematic, I guess. Because it's only been a week & my lovely ottoman isn't just "tufted" on the top. The sides also have lots of tufts. (Grrr.) Tried covering it with a thick towel, but instead of sinking her claws into the towel, the clever kitty rucked up the towel, & slid her paws under the towel. She seemed to take it as a personal challenge to get around my work-around. (Grr. Grr.) If you have a cat, you might want to pass this one by.I both love and hate this ottoman. I did just receive the ottoman yesterday so have only been using it for about 24 hours. It is absolutely perfect for my needs; with one tiny issue (see cons below). This ottoman replaces one that was a bit more than twice its size. Sadly, it had gotten old so the fabric was falling apart; but it was also too big for my apartment and heavy as heck.Pro:-It's purple. It is not a primary color purple, but more of a deeper purple.-It's tall enough that my legs are actually elevated, which is fabulous.-Storage! Perfect.Con:-The cushion on top is hard. I cannot imagine sitting on it, which I wouldn't do anyway, but my legs and feet don't like hard.-It does not move easily.Now here's the thing. I suspect, and know, that the cons are easily fixed. I put a pillow on top for softness. Not only does that help the hard/soft issue, it elevates my feet even more. So that "con" is a non-issue.The moving issue is a problem, but I suspect that there is a relatively easy fix. There are little metal do-dads on the bottoms of the feet that should make sliding easy; however they don't--that may be because my floor is the real problem. I'll update my review if/when I find a solution.I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. I needed a seat that i could use at my vanity in my bathroom while blow drying my hair. Just like every other piece of furniture i own it had to have storage. I love in a very small space so i have to keep things organized. I settled on the Robins Egg blue because one reviewer said it was more of a mint green. That's almost accurate..i would go with soft mint but whatever it is it works. My bathroom is a neutral/light mint/ pretty champagne color scheme and this worked perfectly. Nice and soft color. It arrived in great condition and packed extremely well. The material is high end and it's lovely. It was live at forat sight. I was extatic! The detail is so nice and for the price i think it's a great bargain. I was able to fit all of my curling wands and my hair dryer as well as a large makeup storage box . My vanity area is nice and organized. The legs are tall enough where i can sit and blow dry and see myself in the mirror. Also the little legs are a nice ivory color which compliments the color nicely. Overall i love it and am considering purchasing one for my daughter because she loves it too. I think the only thing to be aware of is the colors are off. So be careful and mindful of that. I say go for it.Color is perfect. Great for storage. Fabric is of excellent quality. Packaged extremely well. Highly recommend but they are 20 inches in diameter not16 as listed in the description.This ottoman is absolutely beautiful and well made. But I was really dissappointed to see the color that the tangerine looks like in picture was more yellow but its more orange then it looks like in picture. We have a bed and breakfast type home here in fireisland pines called McKenna Oasis and the sunflower is the icon of the house. So I was looking for a nice yellow ottoman for the living area of the gallery and saw this beautiful ottoman. Well it really doesn't matter the color works and makes the room pop. Just know its not a yellow orange its orange orange but it is a beautiful piece and compliments any room.Worth spending a little more for this one. I originally got one from Homegoods. It wasn’t a storage one and was slightly smaller and made of synthetic fiber. It was cute and would’ve done the job, but when I saw it next to this one it went back. It’s worth paying double for the all cotton fabric and wooden legs. The storage is a bonus.To my surprise this ottoman arrived in 2 days! and was nicely packed, wrapped in a fabric cover, with separate bubble wrap feet covers and secured within the box. It was fully assembled when I unboxed it, which I love because I am getting too old to be bothered with putting furniture together. Beautiful fabric - exactly the "antique" finish I was looking for to go with my art deco decor. It is the perfect size for the corner of my bedroom and holds 2 throw blankets and an extra accent pillow. While I don't plan to sit on it, it seems well made, sits evenly on the floor, stitching is tight, and the inside (including the lid) is also nicely finished.I’ve only had this for a day so my impressions are new and I will update later if needed.It took me a long time to choose a storage ottoman and even when I picked this one online I had hesitations. It’s larger than I expected, but still a good size. Can probably fit two throw pillows and/or a couple throw blankets. You can sit on it, but as it’s an ottoman it probably wouldn’t be comfortable long.Some people mentioned having to put the legs on, but I did not. Mine came perfectly attached.I adore this shade of tangerine. Very close to the photos posted online. Overall a great purchase to go with my accent chair.The 19lb Shiba Inu in one of the photos is for size and depth purposes.
