I ordered this couch about a month ago. The shipping time listed on Amazon was accurate. The delivery company called me a couple of days before they got it to schedule a drop off time to me. I was able to schedule delivery for after work. The couch came in 3 large cardboard boxes and needed to be assembled. They deliver curbside only, so plan to assemble it (1 hour) before you can use it. The boxes were surprisingly compact, they really put a lot of effort into designing these to be sold through Amazon. I was able to get the boxes in the house by myself with the help of a small moving dolly, but without the dolly I would have needed help. But I'm a big guy so your results may vary. Still, I believe that 2 adult women in reasonably good shape could get this couch inside and could absolutely assemble it. In summary of the logistics I would give this couch 5 stars, I was happy with the logistics compared to the purchase price, this couch would sell for much more from a local showroom with delivery and assembly.The couch is comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. It doesn't feel like a cheap couch, I don't feel any of the boards or springs under me like I have on lower priced couches before. That part I would absolutely rate at 5 stars also.Here's why I am giving it 4 stars, and I hope the manufacturer reads this and improves their product. The back cushions are held in place by velcro, but the bottom cushions are not. Since this couch has a chaise, I don't sit or lay on it, but I do something in between sitting and laying. It's super comfortable and refreshing, and the other seats are comfortable too. The problem is when I sit/lay on the chaise and the bottom cushions are not velcroed in the bottom slides out a little and the back cushion comes undone from the velcro and slips down into the crrack. I can use a pillow and still be comfortable, but after 2 weeks of doing this I can see the back cushion for the chaise is getting deformed.I wish the manufacturer put velcro under the bottom cushions and thicker strips of velcro to hold the back cushions in place. It seems that it would slightly add to the cost but would increase the life, look, and overall comfort of the couch.Still, I can give this couch 4 stars and close by saying for the price, you're going to be happy with this couch.This couch is as low quality as they come. It is the worst furniture purchase I have ever made.The assembly process requires a lot of trial and error as the instructions are lacking a lot of detail. You _WILL_ tear the cheap black "fabric" of the bottom of the couch as you tighten the bolts, there's no way around it. (Hint, when you screw in the bolts in the backs, they will go all the way in, but only screw them in about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, you need the length later. This is mentioned nowhere) As I assembled it, wood pieces started falling off all over. You will want a 12mm hex wrench of your own, the one that came with it is nearly impossible to use and bent after about 2 uses. I cannot emphasize how low quality the wood is. This is worse than construction wood chip board, and it breaks easily, and will chip from normal use. Every time I vacuum I find new wood chips under the couch.The microfiber had what appear to be water stains in several places. We were able to remove them with a wet towel.The back pillows are stuffed into the bottom of the couch during transport, with not enough space for 2 of them. The two that were crunched together, have still not relaxed, several weeks later. I've really tried with them, and we'll live with it, but expect two of them to look crunched forever.The two couch pieces come with no hardware to attach to each other. That means the side and back pieces will regularly need adjusting as normal use slides them apart.While the back pillows are sort-of attached with velcro and stay in place, the seating cushions constantly slide forward. You will have to fix them every time you sit on this thing.The seating cushions are hard, but acceptable when you sit squarely in the middle of them. It feels like sitting on a broomstick when you try to sit between them. This is lame for a couch.Yesterday my girlfriend leaned on the arm rest, and she felt and we both heard the wood inside breaking. It didn't tear the fabric, but there is a hole you can feel in there now. She didn't jump or do anything crazy, just leaned on it to reach for a glass of water.It is inexpensive, but the quality is such a disappointment, if it was reasonably easy I would return this in a heartbeat. Very, very disappointed with this purchase. I'll be surprised if this couch survives a year without falling apart.Amazon, get this off your site or review this item. It is way sub-par. The only reason I'm not returning it is that I'm certain it would break if I took it apart, and I already recycled the boxes, and do not want to deal with this company.I just purchased this couch on June 7th, 2015. It was delivered in 3 days, I live near the company's warehouse. Yes the couch is firm, but nice and solid. I like a firm couch, so this isn't an issue for me. I do not like fluffy couches that when you sit down, your entire body sinks down into it. If you like a fluffy couch, this is NOT the couch for you. The entire sectional came in 3 boxes. All of the pillows are stuffed into the inside, hollow space of the couch, which takes up less room and packaging. Hence the 3 boxes. My husband put it together with the instructions and bag of screws & nuts that came with it. The chaise is now reversible, and the instructions that are provided allow you to pick which side you would like it on (right side or left) prior to set up. The pillows and cushions all have velcro backing which is how all the pillows/cushions stay in place. The velcro is hidden behind the pillows, and low enough that when you are sitting on it you can't see any velcro at all. I'll attach a few pics for your viewing pleasure! Works great for my small home (1200 sq. ft). Would recommend this sectional to anyone who is couch-hunting on a budget, but also who wants a nice looking sectional. A small throw blanket, and a few toss pillows will dress this couch up just perfect.
