I was replacing one I had had for many years that I had found at a discount store. I really didn't want to spend $100 but I had been looking for some time and couldn't find a replacement I liked. This one was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I wouldn't say it is very easy to maneuver because it is kind of heavy (especially with all of my junk stored in it) but I don't move it much. So far it has held up well as a step for our small dog (18 #'s) to get on the top of the bed as well. I would recommend this product!I applied stain guard on these before using but they still got dirty very easily. Other than that, they are great for storing stuff in my living room.Great quality and cheaper that furniture storesI did not screw the legs on so this ottoman is the perfect height for a foot stool or to put a coffee tray on.The kids love to hide their toys in it also. This ottoman gives a subtle touch of design to a livingroom that needed a little bit more flair.I use this stylish storage ottoman in a small guest bedroom. It's a perfect place to sit and put on shoes. I'm able to store an extra set of sheets and a full-size blanket inside!I ordered a pair of these ottomans. They were delivered quickly and the packaging provided ample protection. I was pleasantly surprised upon opening as to the quality of the product. The fabric is not a "bright white" but rather, a little more creamy in color. This is perfect for my use. The feet have to be screwed into place which takes less than 5 minutes for all 4 legs. The legs are wood with a brown stain. The fabric has a smooth feel to it. The padding used on the top is firm but comfortable. I use these primarily as a foot rest and storage. After having my feet on the top for over an hour, there was no sign of indentation in the foam. I believe these will look new for a long time with proper care. As for the hinge, it seems sturdy and stays in place while open. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend the product.No regrets about this ottoman, love it, big enough to put a voluptuous blanket for winter and still have space for more things. Easy to assemble the feet, I wanted a raised ottoman, easy to move around AND serves as an extra seat.The "cubes" arrived in time 4 months ago. I opened the boxes carefully not to cut the cushions and screwed the legs in place. Easy. The color was exactly as expected and so was their size. The top opens easily and stores 4 or 5 beach towels. I am cautious to sit on them briefly, but other people sit on them more time and they hold fine. I don't stand on them nor do I allow it. They are a "coffee table" or foot rest. Very comfortable height for either and the cushion is nice on your ankles. The hardware is not impressive but it works and the hinges are not obvious on the outside.
